Every two years a magical event happens. A community of artists from around New Zealand leave their natural habitats (usually dark caves) to show the rest of New Zealand what they've been working on. Generally these people are allergic to sunlight, but fortunately the venue is in the basement of the Aotea Centre, so natural light isn't a large concern.
In all seriousness though, it's Chromacon time again, and I've been working hard to get some work finished so I have new shiny things to show everyone. Chromacon is so much fun! I can't say enough good things about it. This year it is across a weekend. Saturday April 8 and Sunday April 9 is when the public will be able to see what everyone has been working on! If you're curious about it, I highly encourage you to come out and check it out. Admission is FREE, so there is no excuse.
I've been working on a new comic. I'll be launching it online around the same time as the show, or perhaps right after, but I will also have the first few comics for the site collected in a new book. It's called "Pizza Sneakers" and I'm really excited to show everyone and share some new stories with the world.
I'll hopefully have a couple of new art prints for sale as well. Please do come down and say hello!
Thanks
Marc
